Web Design

Welcome to my freelance design site. This recent redesign focuses on wordpress. I have recently started to branch out into CMS design. WordPress is the latest I have tackled and is quickly becoming my favorite, due too its ease of use and simple structure. I am front end or graphic web designer, which means that I make stuff pretty and easy to navigate. I have no knowledge of web development, I cannot from scratch make an entirely new web application. What does this mean to you, my visitor who is most likely looking for a person to build them a site? Probably not a whole lot, most people looking for a site are looking for a “presentation site”. I would define that as a site that acts very much like a interactive brochure, letting your customers know what your about and what services and or products you offer.

CMS or content management systems allow someone to change the content on their site as well as update info. All without any knowledge of coding or any skills beyond that of entry-level word. They are a heaven sent to freelance designers like myself. I can design your site, get you or your company all setup and just let you have at it. A CMS on the user end (that would be you) is a very simple and hassle free way of maintaining and updating a site. Think of the back-end as what you see when you log into facebook, and the front-end as what other people see when they look at your profile. That is pretty much how CMS applications work in maintaining sites.
